Leaving Tombstone to go underground…

We went to Kartchner Caves on our way out of the Tombstone area.

Unfortunately, they would not let us take photos in the cave…maybe next time we go, I’ll try to sneak a few. We had to reserve the tour the day before as we didn’t want to get stuck like Carlsbad (they had beautiful tours but everything was booked when we arrived and a self guided tour was all we could do… ). It was a beautiful tour at Kartchner and we’d do the advanced one next time we head over.

They had a wonderful display, discovery centre and trails outside to hike above the caves…

The whole area is once again….spectacular…we said we’d only do a short hike, so we didn’t bring our water…we only did 5 miles…maybe 6. We just keep telling ourselves, lots of water, some food and a flashlight…don’t leave the car without them.

This is a photo of the modern day King Arthur trial. I was unable to pull it out.

Tucson Tammie at EG's

We found Tammie and she introduced us to Eegee’s in Tucson…

  1. What are Eegees? Sure going to be hard to leave that & come back to cold & snow🌵🌞🦂🦎/🌧❄️☃️🌬

    • Eggees are a frozen treats with delicious flavours. They are like a slushy but much better. You bet it’s going to be hard to return to cold and snow.
